This is a reminder to return your surveys about adding a playground on the lot at the corner of Furlong and Bluegrass so the board can discuss this on Monday (2/20).

What is this ‘Reserve Fund’?

Why do we have a reserve fund?
A reserve fund is to prevent increasing dues because of an unforeseeable issue.  When an HOA without money in a reserve fund faces expenses outside its general operations budget, the HOA will likely have two choices: increase dues significantly right away, or levy special assessments.  So it is recommended to have a reserve

V3 Basin Work – September Update

V3 has finished the woody removal from the Churchill Club Basin on the west side of Douglas this past Thursday 9/1/16.  During both the 8/23 event and the 9/1 event, they cut down small weedy trees and samplings, removed the woody cut vegetation for chipping, and chipped (for offsite disposal). K. Hovnanian Spillway Work

Starting next week (8/22/16), K. Hovnanian will begin work to address the wash out area in the pond, the drainage along the bike path and misc. repairs to the bike path in the area between Fifth St. and Yoakum Blvd.

They are planning to stage a temporary construction entrance to get concrete and stone trucks to the pond area. This
